Mister Molar is our innovative new dental education software.
Mister Molar is a cartoon character who takes children through everything they need to know about their teeth, how to look after them and visiting the dentist.
The software uses a suite of activities and computer games that are educational and entertaining at the same time. The software can be used on a PC in the practice waiting area, so children are both distracted and informed whilst waiting for their appointment. Alternatively, we offer an online version or patient packs that you can give or sell to your child patients, which contains a copy of the software and a leaflet on basic dental care.
The dental content in the software has been developed in conjunction with Newcastle Dental Hospital and our own clinical expert. The content has been incorporated into 15 games, 8 interactive learning modules and a comprehensive dental dictionary. Each game and activity uses the same cartoony style, bright colours and child friendly language.
We have designed the games and activities to be simple to use and to deliver key messages even in very short periods of use, such as a 5 minute wait for an appointment.
